Introduction

        The Ergonomics & Human Factors Unit is an affiliated unit of the Institute for Information Processing and Decision Making (IIPDM). It was established in 1993, and it is the central site for the dissemination of human factors-related information to industrial, military, and commercial entities in Israel. The unit is located on the second floor of the University of Haifa’s Multi-Purpose building (room 241). The unit contains high-quality computers, a specialized library and a reading room where interested parties may peruse a wide-ranging selection of journals, textbooks, articles, and guidelines and standards related to various aspects of human factors and ergonomics. All of these are available to human factors professionals and students, allowing access to extensive knowledge on the field of ergonomics.

Literature searches and preparation of bibliographies
Organization of seminars, courses and workshops
